The Process

A pictogram is an ideogram that conveys its meaning through its pictorial resemblance to a physical object. In certain modern use, pictograms participants to a formal language. The design revolution of Olympics Pictograms reflects the development of graphic design from visual systems to cultural influence.
The Solution
The timeline organized Olympics Pictograms into Summer and Winter categories and compared the games by every four years. From the timeline, the audience is able to not only recognize the design style of every system, but also can notice the design difference of each game.
