Candy Journals

 

The inspiration came from the movie "Forrest Gump". "Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." Food is an effective trigger of deeper memories of feelings and emotions, internal states of the mind and body.

The Process

 

The taste flavors associate with visual design can not only carry the memories, but also create commercial value. Yet we order our lives in a seven-day cycle, doing certain things on Monday, certain other things on Tuesday, and so on through the week. Live every day with a different sweet taste.

The Solution

 

The personal journals were designed into a series of candy packaging from Monday to Sunday with my personal journals and seven different colors and flavors of candy. The promotional set design is a commercial augment based on the personal set. The difference is opening the boxes, the audience will get an opening interesting topic. It leaves more space for audience to create their own memory.
